You don’t have to be a nurse to understand your healthcare.
I help patients and families make sense of it, ask the right questions, and make decisions with confidence.
Throughout my career, I’ve cared for people through some of the hardest moments of their lives, from the ICU to oncology to the emergency department. I pay attention with every sense I have, because what goes unsaid in a room is often what tells me the most.
I love taking a complicated medical situation and making sense of it with patients, families, and the care team until everyone is on the same page. I am a relentless patient advocate, I help patients and loved ones gain clarity in chaos, and I truly believe that I was called to do this work. I would be honored to be that person for you.
When you or someone you love is facing a serious illness, the questions come fast. What happens next? What should I expect? How serious is this? What am I supposed to ask? People are expected to make big decisions without clear answers, real support, or guidance, and without ever being shown how to navigate the hard conversations before a crisis forces them.
The Healthcare Confidence Program is a 6-week group coaching course that helps you feel prepared instead of panicked. In plain English, I'll walk you through what to expect, what questions to ask, and how to advocate with confidence, so your decisions reflect your own values. I’ll be with you throughout the 6 weeks, with live office hours for your questions.
Are you in the middle of an emotionally complex, high-stakes healthcare crisis? Suddenly responsible for decisions for someone you love, exhausted, overwhelmed, and holding more questions than answers? I am so glad you are here.
This podcast will help you understand what you are facing, ask better questions and make decisions that reflect what matters most. It is an honor to walk alongside you. So grab some water, take a deep breath, and sit with me.
Whatever you’re facing, we start with you in sessions we schedule together. What is your biggest problem right now? What worries you most about it? What would you most like to walk away with? Those three questions shape everything we do.
Some people come for help finding their way through appointments, treatments, or a chronic condition. Others want to plan ahead, or talk through goals of care and quality of life. And sometimes what you need most only becomes clear as we talk. Wherever you are, we begin there.
